Becky Bishop

Mediation Manager

Becky (she/her) earned her law degree from the University of Kansas and has been a licensed attorney for more than 30 years. She realized early in her career that alternate dispute resolution frequently led to better solutions than those a court could provide. She became passionate about promoting the benefits of mediation to parties in a dispute and decided to complete her Missouri Supreme Court Civil mediator training in 2008. She is also a trained Family mediator and special education mediator

In addition to her legal background, Becky relies on her training and experience as a board-certified health coach during mediations. She listens with empathy and applies her extensive communication skills training to guide difficult, emotion-filled conversations forward, allowing all parties to feel heard and understood. She believes that a guiding communication style is the most effective way to help mediation parties create their own solutions. 

Becky has served as a volunteer conflict coach and contract mediator for CRCSTL. She also serves as a contract mediator with M.A.R.C.H and DESE. She believes deeply in the life changing services CRCSTL offers to the St. Louis community and is thrilled to join the CRCSTL staff as the Mediation Manager. She is excited to connect daily with the talented and devoted group of CRCSTL contract mediators and volunteers.

Outside of conflict resolution, Becky enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exploring St. Louis neighborhoods and restaurants. She loves to travel and spends as much time as possible outdoors--walking her dog and playing pickle ball and golf.
