Urban League EXPO Back to School & Community Empowerment Festival 📚
Presented by the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis (ULSTL) in partnership with St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS), this community celebration was a free family event featuring essential school supplies and services to ready students for the upcoming school year. The event featured over 350 non-profit and civic organizational partners providing information on an array of topics from housing, employment, public safety, and education in addition to vital services such as health screenings, utility assistance, and financial literacy workshops.
Conflict Resolution Center-St. Louis (CRCSTL) was on hand to provide crucial information about our free services and our Student-Led Peer Mediation program. We are proud to work alongside ULSTL and greatly appreciate the work that goes into a large scale community event like this one which provides such vital resources and support to the St. Louis community. Ville Empowerment Fair 🏘
On July 13, 2024, CRCSTL tabled at the Ville Empowerment Fair, a community event for all ages focusing on personal and community health. The fair featured fun for the entire family and we were on hand to provide information about our free services.
SLAA Business Networking Expo
We were fortunate this year to participate for the second time in the St. Louis Apartment Association (SLAA) Best of St. Louis Networking Expo, aka, Reverse Trade Show, on July 10, 2024.
The Reverse Trade Show is a highly effective business networking event that provides the opportunity for attendees to meet privately with owners and key decision makers from large property management companies representing units across the St. Louis metro area. It was wonderful to connect with these folks and hang out with other business and service providers.
Mediators Reflective Practice Circle 🤓
CRCSTL mediators came together on June 27, 2024 to discuss and share their work, cases, and results. Thank you to Michael Kelrick for leading the group and allowing space to help everyone learn from one another. CRCSTL staff, mediators, and volunteers are a dedicated group of life-long learners as part of our mission.
