OVP Kickback ☀️ Gravois Park
CRCSTL was delighted to participate in the April OVP Kickback hosted in Gravois Park. The St. Louis Office of Violence Prevention (OVP), a division of the St. Louis Department of Public Safety, is working in partnership with the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) and Be SMART, an Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund program, to continue gun violence prevention efforts in St. Louis and spread the critical message to community members about secure firearm storage.
The OVP hosted The Gravois Park Kickback on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in St. Louis’s South City. This was a free neighborhood event, providing residents a place to gather for food, music and entertainment. CRCSTL was there to share our services about conflict resolution and promote de-escalation in hopes to prevent violence from escalating. Future events will be hosted in new locations on the third Saturday of every month.
