Mediation in Practice
Course Overview
Conflict Resolution Center-St. Louis is excited to offer an educational opportunity that will provide mediators with hands-on experience in the field of mediation. Guided by professional mediators, this unique program will provide a pathway to learn skills to excel in the field of mediation. This program is a hybrid, meeting both online and in-person.
Learning Objectives:
Learn the fundamentals of successful mediation
Gain the experience to guide participants to mutual understanding
Advance your knowledge in conflict de-escalation
Determine when and how the caucus rooms are utilized
Discover how and when co-mediation is advantageous
Who should attend:
New and experienced mediators who desire hands-on training and mentorship
Program Requirements:
Completion of Missouri Rule 17 Mediation Training is mandatory

Residency Program Components:
Join us for three days of hands-on training at CRCSTL’s offices. Our workshops include:
Agreement drafting,
Three full-length mediation roleplays,
Conflict coaching training, and
Conflict coaching roleplays

Scholarship Information:
A limited number of scholarships are available. To be considered for a scholarship award, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Reside in Missouri
Demonstrate financial need
Commit to volunteering for one year with CRCSTL
Let us know that you’d like to be considered for a scholarship in your program application
